A Girl and Her Camera

"OMG... I'm going through your photo blog... You've done some really amazing work! Absolutely beautiful!"

Thanks

My first and second attempts at IR photography.  This stuff is pretty tricky.  I have a few kinks to work out still… particularly with determining the proper exposure while shooting the images.  It was very hard for me to figure out how good/bad they were on the spot since it was near impossible to see the LCD on my camera.  It would seem that the longer-exposed images resulted in better transformations once edited…  If anyone has any tips for me I would greatly appreciate them :)

Coming soon…

More photos coming soon! I’m sorry I haven’t kept you all engaged for such a long time, but I haven’t had much time for photography lately. I have a vacation coming up in the beginning of July though! I’m going to Acadia with my boyfriend and I’m going to take tons of photos. I’ll be playing with my new ND400 and possibly an IR filter too. I’ll also be sporting a 12-24mm lens which I’m borrowing (but unfortunately my filters won’t fit on it).

I’m not sure how I feel about this shot, but I’m posting it anyways.  This is an 18 shot panoramic I took in Sorrento, Italy.  The ruined building in there is some kinda mill that was built around 900AD. Camera: Nikon D5000
